My favourite restaurant in Fredericton. The ramen is some of the best I've ever had. The service is absolutely fantastic. They can be a bit busier on the weekends, but ALWAYS worth the wait. Such a great family owned, family run business and we are so happy they chose Fredericton. If you are on the fence about trying this place, DO IT, you will not be disappointed.

I drove up to join some friends in trying out Tokyo Ramen, a sort of semi regular excursion to try more local, or at least for me near enough, restaurants. With the location and exterior, I wasn't sure what to expect, but once I stepped inside the place was impressive and showed how much love and effort went into decorating and setting it all up. We were seated in a large family round table, which is great for interacting and sharing the dining experience, and our server was extremely helpful and pleasant the whole time. The food was incredible, showing the care, planning and prep work involved. I look forward to trying to visit again, and with the quality and prices, I encourage anyone going to university in Fredericton to look them up.

Top notch ramen at a fair price. The staff are helpful and friendly and the food was delicious. The noodles were perfect and the broth had me craving more and more. It's hard to find authentic Japanese foods in Fredericton but this place definitely fits that bill and was very enjoyable.

Just had the best experience at Tokyo Ramen. Went in to order take out and the gentleman behind the counter explained the flavours of the dishes to me as I looked at their menu. I was offered a seat while I waited and was brought a glass of water. There was even a phone charging station at the bar. He even said "bless you" when I sneezed and brought me a tissue without prompting. Amazing service. They will even give you a deal if you reuse takeout containers or bring your own to help with reducing plastic usage. The decor is quaint but the real star is the food. The King ramen was spectacular. Can't recommend enough.

The service was amazing, they took our group in even though we didnt have a reservation for 7 people. The food I dont even know where to start. It was all extremely fresh tasting. I've had ramen at a few shops in my life but nothing has ever compared to what i experienced there. The selection of ramen was great I believe around 15 types let alone other dishes served there. Everything was served promptly and tasted like they had just made it. The decor to top it off was amazing and made me feel very relaxed. Literally the only complaint I would have is that finding the door to get in took a little effort, but that would just be the building's design and not on the restraunt We will be coming back soon for more, but we will remember to create a reservation.

Once I know, a new ramen restaurant is open for business. I cannot help myself to give it a try. The options are great. I will definitely come back to try other dishes. The wait time is ok. During peak-time, it could be a bit longer. But it will worth your while.The parking is not an issue as the restaurant share the parking lot with the hotel.

I've never seen friendlier staff or people anywhere in my life, food is fantastic. Ordering process is a little unorthodox, and they could certainly benefit from an AC in the restaurant, but those minor things could never take away from the fantastic experience.

Some of the best food I've had. Even though left the restaurant feeling stuffed, the food was so good it had me craving more. Service was great, and the people working there are amazing and very kind. 10/10 Would recommend!

Food aside, the fact that you have to order and pay at the cashier before eating is a bit of a pain. I have nothing against paying, but you have to line up at the cashier, one by one, order, and pay. If there are many customers you have to wait in line for a long time. Wish they took orders and payments at the table instead. Definitely a minus here.Food was good though. I had rice menu so I can't comment on the noodles.

Oh man... This place is great. If you are like me and worry about portion size, you could always go for the King Ramen which is frankly an absurd amount of food, but the regular ramen dishes are plenty satisfying. Try different things, engage with the staff and they'll steer you in the right direction. I got the same thing my first two visits and then they asked me if I wanted to try something different so I took the chance and loved it (I had been ordering King Ramen, they advised me to try Tokyo Ramen with soy broth).Side note, in the attached photo (King Ramen) that is literally the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life. Best fried chicken I've had, and it came sitting on top of a bowl of soup. Go figure.

This place is just amazing. The staff are so friendly and down to earth and very helpful if you are trying it out for the first time. Reminds me of home. Whether you like it mild or spicy, they have something for everyone. I would recommend this place to everyone to try.

Very polite cashier, helpful staff and great tasting food

The food was excellent. The staff is very friendly. Prices are reasonable since the portion are quite big. One bowl is an entire meal. The bubble was delicious. I had the strawberry and my husband had the Taro.The method of ordering is different. You order at the counter when you walk in, pay for your order. You are given a number that you place on your table then someone brings the food to you.I recommend giving it a try. We will definitely go back.

LOVE THIS PLACE. I honestly can't say enough good stuff about this place. The food is amazing. The prices are very good.customer service is literally the best I've ever seen anywhere in my entire life.the bubble tea is to die for and I will be there many many times.

A little pricey and it takes a little getting use to but once the ordering system is explained you are in for a treat. You are immediately made to feel welcome by all , as the service is almost fauningly explained to you. Patience will reward you with a truly authentic Japanese meal and experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

First time trying bubble tea was amazing

I lived in Fredericton for almost my whole life and only found out about this place recently. Just a quick drive up the road from the UNB campus Tokyo Ramen has a menu with a wide variety of food and lots of room inside to sit and enjoy your meal. The portions sizes are great and they have some of the friendliest staff you will ever meet at a restaurant.

Great place for a great meal.The soups are delicious with house made noodles and the karaage is the best fried chicken in town.You can tell the people who run the restaurant love it and take care when making the food.The secret is out because the place is packed every time we go now!!

The food is incredibly fresh and delicious, and the staff at this family-owned business are fantastic. We always enjoy talking to the son who works the register. Did I mention the food is delicious!? The noodles are hand-made every day. I used to live in Japan, and this place is very authentic. Highly recommend!

I've travelled to Japan three times, and the ramen they serve here is just as delicious as any ramen I've had in Tokyo. I'm super excited to explore the menu - they offer Japanese dishes here that you can't get anywhere else in the city. The prices are very reasonable, and you'll be greeted by an enthusiastic "irasshaimase!" when you enter. I'm so excited that Fredericton finally has a legit Japanese restaurant. Don't hesitate - go try it!
